Welcome to Environmental Services.

The Environmental Services section in Facilities Management offers support and advice on sustainability issues and coordinates environmental projects and programmes.

Facilities Management (FM) aims to reduce the environmental impact of University operations by conserving water and energy, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and waste and promoting ecologically sustainable building design and operations. FM has formed a Climate Change Action Group to address these issues.

Mini-Bins

You may notice that your rubbish bin goes missing and a small mini-bin is placed on your desk over the coming months. The aim of this is to increase recycling and reduce waste. Find out more here.

University Club ECO Mug

Think before you drink! The University Club goes through 1000 disposable non-recyclable cups per week that are thrown in the rubbish and go to landfill. Now you can purchase a thermal ECO Mug branded with the Club logo and get your first beverage purchased FREE.
